Es para dejaros una muestra de cómo versionean canciones metaleras este peculiar trío formado por los chelistas finlandeses Eicca Toppinen, Paavo Lötjönen , Perttu Kivilaakso y Mikko Sirén ; (ex-integrantes: Antero Manninen, Max Lilja). Según fuentes fidedignas, el chelo más viejo y aún ‘sobreviviente’, data de 1572. Fue diseñado por el italiano Andrea Amati, un artesano que nunca hubiera pensado que los primos lejanos de su querido violonchelo algún día serían conectados a amplificadores y sus cuerdas bailarían fúrica y violentamente al ritmo del metal. Apocalyptica ha reunido mundos aparentemente separados: el metal y la música clásica.
